The wood in an end grain board has been cut across the grain of a tree, giving you a durable surface that resists gouging and fraying of the wood and helps prevent dull knives. We do not use any dyes or stains in our cutting boards, letting the natural beauty of the wood shine through! We have already given this board a good soak in 100% food grade mineral oil and finished it with a protectant that we make out of only of natural beeswax and mineral oil. We will include a copy of our care instructions with your purchase.
